Hours: 7am-3pm / 3pm-11pm - Rotating shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the continuous operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment, meeting contractual requirements and client demands. Reporting daily to the engineering supervisor, performing preventative planned maintenance and reactive tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Install, diagnose, and solve issues on equipment per specifications.
• Perform electrical tasks on LV systems, UPS, Vesda Gas Suppression, BMS, PMS, and facility power, lighting, and HVAC distribution.
• Report and address issues from Trend 963 BMS facilities.
• Interpret technical drawings and conduct mechanical isolations.
• Update the engineering supervisor on progress and completions.
• Recommend safety improvements and adhere to regulations.
• Inform the supervisor of required stock and remedial works.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and perform non-electrical duties as assigned.
• Comply with the Electricity At Work Regulations Act 1989 and BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations.
• Follow electrical safe working practices.
• Report hazards and complete HSE training.
• Be part of a shift working pattern, Week 1: 7am 3pm Monday to Friday, Week 2: 3pm 11pm Monday to Friday.

Knowledge & Experience:

• City & Guilds level 3 technical certification, ideally Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent
• Trained to the latest IET BS7671 Regulations standard
• Relevant Electrical Engineering experience within a previous position
• Exposure to LV systems, critical installations, HVAC and Mechanical operational systems.
• Experience with L8 is highly desirable
• Good IT skills where use of a PDA/Ipad are required
