Electrical Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator with expertise in renewables products to join a dynamic team that are shaping the future of a 150-year-old family business.

Who are you?

You’ll be someone who specialises in renewables but can also contribute to general electrical work as needed, ensuring the highest level of service and professionalism. You’ll be confident working across the following activities;

- Attending site visits to better understand customer requirements.

- Developing designs for works to be completed.

- Developing cost estimates.

- Generating customer quotes.

- Briefing engineers on job specifications.

- Building relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors

We would love it if you could:

- Support with testing and inspection.

- Understood grid connectivity and working with DNOs.

- Had an existing contacts list of prospective clients.

Skills and Qualifications

- Qualified to level 3 NVQ electro technical

- Estimating experience

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Good time management and organisation skills

- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

- Knowledge of solar PV design software such as OpenSolar and SolarEdge

Schedule

- Monday to Friday
