My client are currently looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their site in North Lanarkshire. You will be working with a successful manufacturer, with a fantastic reputation within their respective markets. What are they looking for?
The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will possess a strong electrical background and ability, however will also have an understanding and knowledge of mechanical equipment and processes. You will ensure that all machinery and equipment is installed, maintained and operated to maximise production output and efficiencies, recommending and implementing improvements where necessary. You will carry out fault diagnosis and repair breakdowns. You will also be required to analyse line efficiency, wastage and downtime data with a view to identifying areas for performance improvement.
To be applicable for this position, you will ideally be educated to HNC level in an electrical engineering related discipline with significant engineering experience of maintenance systems within a complex high speed production unit, FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
The working pattern for this role is a variable 12 hour shift pattern (3on 3 off) working an average of 40.25 hours per week.
