We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s market-leading organisation. If you have experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, then this could be the role for you!

Duties include:

• Responding to machinery breakdowns.
• Fault finding, PPM, and repairs on machinery.
• Ensuring machinery downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Keeping a record of parts required and any spare parts needed.
• Liaising with the purchasing team to understand deadlines and order parts.
• Communicating effectively with other engineers for handovers.
• Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:

• Previous experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing setting.
• A HNC/HND Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• 18 th Edition – this is not essential but would be advantageous.
• A strong understanding of PLC controls.
• The ability to fault find, as well as carrying out general repairs and PPM.
• Able to communicate effectively to provide handovers and liaise with other departments.
