Form of workElevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading steel manufacturer to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team based in Rotherham.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be accountable for all electrical, electronic, and process control work (planned / breakdown) occurring on the plant.
Working Hours and Benefits of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Bespoke shift pattern - No weekends!
Week 1 – Tuesday – Friday, Days, 12 hours
Week 2 – Monday – Thursday, Nights, 12 hours
Week 3 - Tuesday – Friday, Days, 12 hours
Week 4 – Tuesday & Wed, Nights, 8 hours
Salary £39,748 - WITH GRADING UP TO £43,000

Other duties of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will include:
- Work to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental policy, associated standards and procedures
- Providing first line maintenance/breakdown
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks
- Facilitate lean ways of working to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
- Leading, coaching and developing other employees
- Practise continuous improvement, innovation and pro-activeness for improved ways of working
- Ensure that all parts required are booked out correctly
We are keen to speak with Electrical Maintenance Engineers with the following:
- BTEC qualified in an electrical engineering
- Proven electrical experience in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment
- Practical Mechanical / Electrical hands-on skills
- Good fault finding and problem solving skills
- Good knowledge of continuous improvement programmes, particularly planned maintenance activities
