Exciting opportunity to work for a Direct Client situated in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. CBW are currently recruiting for a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a private healthcare facility located in Hatfield, Hertfordshire - a perfect opportunity for a local engineer.
The successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically biased (C&G, 18th Edition) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on site, he or she will be required to carry out electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance to the following. In return the company is offering a competitive salary of £39,000, further training and career progression.
Duties
- Electrical - Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
- Generators
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Emergency lighting
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Chillers - Re-set
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
- UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
Hours of work
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible 7.5 hour shift (e.g. 07:00-15:30 or 08:00-16:30)
- Weekend call out

- Up to £36,400 + £2,500 on call allowance

Requirements
- Electrically Qualified
- City & Guilds - Level 2 & 3
- City & Guilds - 17th or 18th Edition
- Full UK driving license
- A proven track record in Building Maintenance working
- Good Communication Skills.
- Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical.
- Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution
- Traceable work History
