Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Mobile across M4 Corridor & West London | £38,400 - £39,400 + Employment Package (As Listed Below) | Commercial Environments.
Are you a qualified Electrician? Do you have experience carrying out Planned and Reactive maintenance duties across commercial environments?
Due to contract expansion, we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Commercial Electrician to join the business on a full time, permanent basis, working mobile across the M4 Corridor & West London regions.
Package / What is on offer:
- Basic Salary: £38,400 - £39,400 per annum
- Paid Overtime Available - additional £10K-12K realistically.
- Overtime Rates: £28 per hour.
- Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00am - 5:00pm as standard or 9 hour working day.

- Call out rota: 1/10 weeks. £100 weekly standby allowance + minimum of 4 hours if called out inc d2d travel.

Duties:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance / emergency call outs across commercial properties.
- Electrical fault finding, wiring, cabling, lamps, ballasts, emergency lighting, decorative, lighting, LED upgrades, sockets, fuses, circuits, power supplies to security systems (door entry systems, security access panels, CCTV, gates), control panel maintenance, power distribution, transformers, replacing electrical components within building services equipment, power supplies to HVAC equipment.
- First line faults to HVAC / Mechanical equipment, ie: AHUs / FCUs - coil cleans, filter cleans / changes, cleaning dust/debris, lubricating moving parts, replacing components such as fans, belts, motors etc.
- Updating on-site compliance / log books.
- Updating company CAFM system on works carried out with detailed breakdowns.
- Issuing permits
- Booking, supervising and esocrting sub-contractors.
- Ordering parts / materials.
- Liaising with both the office operations team and clients on progress of works.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- You must be a qualified Electrician, ie: City and Guilds 236 Parts 1&2, 2330 Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Hold experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within a commercial environment.
- Must have a UK driving license.
- Comfortable with the duties listed above.
