Electrical Maintenance Engineer
This can only be considered one of the most interesting and varied opportunities available. You will be working for an immediately recognisable company with a long history of manufacturing from this site. There is a small but highly professional team of engineers looking after every aspect of production maintenance and this is where your skills will be utilised.
Whilst experience gained in a manufacturing environment is preferable, we are looking for those with a wider set of skills too and any suitable and relevant background will be considered.
This role is based on a 3-shift system - Monday to Friday.
The Role:
· Fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown or planned situations
· Liaising with Production to ensure limited downtime
· Working with a planned maintenance system and reactive maintenance
· Modification and improvement of machinery and the plant
· Commissioning and installation
· Extensive experience gained in PLC and SCADA
The Candidate:
· Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills gained in manufacturing environment
· Manufacturing environment experience required
· Extensive experience gained work in conjunction with other relevant trades
· Work with pumps, rollers, conveyors etc would be preferred
· heavy industry experience
· Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification in an electrical discipline
