What will I be doing?
The Marketing Manager will lead marketing activities, whilst supporting the development of new initiatives. This is a varied, hands on role with exposure to all areas of the Marketing mix. In addition, you will have responsibility for managing and mentoring the Marketing Assistant.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning:
- Lead and present marketing activity reports, using metrics and dashboards for measuring success & ROI.
- Working closely with the marketing team, develop and execute engaging marketing activity and campaigns to drive lead pipelines.
Brand Management:
- Support the Head of Marketing in procuring new brand agencies.
- Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines.
- Lead efforts to enhance brand visibility and awareness.
Digital Marketing:
- Be the marketing point of contact for the company intranet.
- Be the brand ambassador across all social channels, ensuring correct use of the brand with consistent messaging and tone of voice.
- Continually develop strategies that help to increase digital leads.
- Manage the relationship with the digital marketing agency to ensure digital marketing campaigns are executed to a high standard to generate leads and drive traffic to websites and landing pages.
- Report on analytics to measure the success of digital marketing activities.
Content and PR
- Support customers with delivering impactful content, press releases and case studies.
- Ensure content aligns with the overall brand messaging.
Agency Management
- Work with the Head of Marketing in researching and procuring marketing agencies to work with.
- Supports the Head of Marketing with the preparation of clear agency briefs which include clear KPIs, timescales and budget information.
Events and Promotions:
- Attend events and work outside of normal hours if required.
- Develop promotional campaigns with key stakeholders to drive awareness and attendance at events.
- Manage and deliver events, including procurement of all suppliers.
- Collaborate with external partners for co-promotional opportunities.
Team Collaboration & Training:
- Work with the Head of Marketing and other departments to ensure consistent and integrated marketing efforts and be a strong advocate for marketing approaches across the business.
- Manage team members by developing, coaching and mentoring them.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal business leaders to influence and shape successful marketing activity implementation.
Budgets:
- Monitor expenses and manage marketing budgets.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Manage and report on key business metrics and KPIs to measure performance, regularly sharing learnings and insights with the wider business.
- Keep up with trends and make data-driven recommendations.

What else do I need to know?
This role is offered initially as a 6 month contract, however there is every possibility the role could be extended. The role will by hybrid with 2 days per week in Head Office in Oxford (Ideally Mondays & Wednesdays) and the rest from home.
