Week 2 – 7pm to 7am – Fri, Sat & Sun
£26.56 per hour PAYE (this includes shift allowance)

Role Purpose
Our prestigious global client has a requirement for an experienced electrical engineer to work shifts on site at their manufacturing facility in Glasgow. The chosen candidates will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance, repair, problem solving and improvement of assets and their availability across the site.
Role Responsibilities
- This role will allow you to work closely with site personnel to ensure all maintenance is effectively developed and delivered and to provide feedback on relative improvements across the site.
- You’ll implement & develop maintenance programmes that support and improve asset performance and utilisation.
- You'll be responsible for promptly and appropriately responding to plant breakdowns and to secure & repair the root cause to minimise downtime.
- You'll accurately and timely record & report any outcome of plant maintenance issues via SAP to ensure best practise has been shared.
- Health & safety compliance and high-quality standards are key for this role and you’ll be expected to adhere to statutory and company requirements.
Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills, can communicate to all levels, develop key relationships and have the ability to make effective decisions and drive improvements using specialist knowledge.
- We’re looking for someone who has the ability to use initiative and push forward their own ideas whilst offering guidance and support for our current approaches.
- You’ll have the drive to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and use your excellent analytical skills to solve problems.
- You'll be a time served Electrical Engineer with the relevant qualifications and have demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles.
