A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team based in Livingston. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who would like to continue their career within an exciting and progressive manufacturing facility.
Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Technician:
As part of a skilled team, this role involves working to both planned and reactive maintenance schedules within the plant, repairing and maintaining forging presses, furnaces, and machine tools, plus electrical installations, and PAT testing. The successful candidate will join a team responsible for all elements of electrical plant maintenance.
Experience required of an Electrical Maintenance Technician:
Applicants must be self-motivated and can manage a varied and demanding workload.
You must have a proven track record of fault finding with the ability to read technical drawings.
You must also be able to work at heights and in enclosed spaces, as well as have basic IT skills together with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Prior industry experience in Electrical Maintenance covering medium voltage distribution systems, equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting, and working with inspection and maintenance programs to meet statutory requirements is essential.

37hrs per week
Monday to Thursday 6 am to 2 pm, Friday 6 am to 12.20 pm
Monday to Thursday 2pmto 10pm, Friday 12.20pm to 6.10pm
Monday Thursday 10pm to 6am and Friday 6:40pm to 1am
Salary
Basic: £27,877.25, Shift allowance: £6,969.31 Annual salary (£34,846.56)
After 3 months of successful probation: Basic: £28,453.14, Shift allowance: £7,113.28 Annual salary (£35,566.42)
