Are you looking to get involved in the developing and fast-growing business of alternative energy production? Do you have a background in Electrical Power Systems and looking to take your career to the next step?
With the backing of an industry giant, our client is rapidly becoming a leader in helping the agricultural industry reduce its carbon footprint, by designing and deploying biogas production systems for farms. They are currently looking for a Power Systems engineer to join their team.
What would you do?
- Be responsible for the design, development, installation, and maintenance of on-farm power products and facilities
- Manage electrical installations of power system products on customer sites.
- Research and develop suitable off the shelf products
- Define technical specifications for potential suppliers
- Assist with the definition of installation and commissioning costs
What are we looking for?
- An engineer with experience in grid-tied generator systems and the associated electrical infrastructure
- Experience in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of Electrical Systems relating to generators and CHP
- Experience in energy storage integration requirements
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification such as:
- City & Guilds Requirements 2391
- City & Guilds Level 3 BS7671:2018 IET
- City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical installation
