Job Overview: As a Project Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in planning, designing, and managing Electrical Projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in electrical engineering will be utilised to ensure the successful delivery of projects while maintaining compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and a team of skilled technicians to provide innovative and reliable electrical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Design: Collaborate with the project team to create detailed electrical plans, layouts, and schematics for various projects, adhering to local codes and regulations.
• Electrical Systems Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of electrical systems, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions for efficient and reliable project execution.
• Material Specification: Determine the appropriate electrical materials and equipment required for each project, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality standards.
• Project Management: Oversee the execution of Electrical Projects, providing technical expertise, and resolving any on-site challenges that may arise during the construction phase.
• Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that all electrical installations and systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety on-site, adhering to safety guidelines, conducting risk assessments, and addressing potential hazards promptly.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, addressing their concerns, providing progress updates, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to foster effective communication and seamless project coordination.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including drawings, specifications, reports, and change orders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience (2 years) working as an Electrical Engineer in project management and electrical systems design.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical design software, and relevant tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Certification or training in health and safety regulations related to the electrical industry.
