Role Overview:
As an Electrical Project Manager, your role will be integral to the seamless execution of projects. Drawing on your extensive experience, you will navigate projects from tender initiation to construction completion. Your seasoned insights will drive the coordination of direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring optimal collaboration and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Project Mastery: Apply your wealth of experience to manage projects comprehensively, from tendering through construction phases.
- Leadership: Guide and coordinate direct labour and subcontractors with a focus on leveraging your extensive industry experience.
- Strategic Reporting: Utilise your analytical prowess to provide insightful and comprehensive project progress reports to management.
- Efficient Procurement: Apply your seasoned procurement skills to secure subcontractors and source materials effectively.
- Client Engagement: Attend client site meetings, leveraging your experience to communicate seamlessly with clients, consultants, and main contractors.
- Documentation Excellence: Expertly manage project variations, prepare O&M manuals, health, and safety documentation, and conduct precise site surveys.
- KPI Expertise: Ensure the weekly monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maintain high project standards.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Qualifications: SMSTS, First Aid Certificate, Asbestos Awareness, 18th Edition, ECS Management Card.
- Expert Competencies: Strong communication, organizational, time management, and analytical skills honed through a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Proven Track Record: Showcase your experience and achievements in project management and electrical engineering, particularly on projects between £20,000 and £1 million.
