About the Company:Our client is a leading MEP Contractor who specialises in design and installation and maintenance working across the residential, commercial, healthcare and the leisure and hospitality sectors. Established over 65 years ago our client has built long-term relationships with some of the UK’s leading names which have led to company growth and are now seeking a Electrical Project Manager.About the Electrical Project Manager Role:Due to company growth, our client is looking for an Electrical Project manager for their already established operations team with the project being a refurbishment project on a theatre Refurbishment in north Wales. As a Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.As a Electrical Project Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:* Directly responsible at the project site level for all matters of Health, Safety and Welfare* To effectively manage and correctly coordinate all facets of a specific project from pre-construction through to handover.* Ensure that all related design information is correctly and fully audited to secure overall compliance with the defined employer’s requirement and all statutory regulations* Oversee all elements of the overall commissioning process to ensure that the services installation is correctly commissioned consistent with the employers requirement and published guidelines* Ensure that complete and comprehensive records are collated and maintained covering all aspects of quality control, system / equipment testing, water treatment, commissioning and equipment maintenance.* In conjunction with the quantity surveyor monitor closely all commercial and contractual matters to ensure that contractual obligations are correctly fulfilled without deviation and that expenditure is contained within defined budget constraints* In conjunction with quantity surveyor prepare accurate regular progress reports* Attend on site meetings, as and when required* Oversee the preparation of Operation & Maintenance Manuals to ensure that the first draft is prepared in complete form* Provide technical support and expertise to the internal project team* Maintain Customer focus involving close working relationships with the client and working partners* Manage variation costing and control with Quantity Surveyor and main contractor* Responsible for handover to client and aftercare.* oversee the commissioning process and ensure full/detailed records are maintained, further ensuring that reports and test/inspection data are collated on a rolling basisCandidate Requirements:* Minimum of HND or equivalent in related engineering subject* Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager with a rival contractor.* Holds a valid CSCS Card* Holds SMSTS* Proficient knowledge of health and safety and environmental legislation* Confident and well organised* Results driven* High level of communication, control, organising, motivational and management skills* Proactive and committed* Collaborative and team oriented, able to delegate comfortablyAbout the Benefits and Rewards:* Upto £70k P/A (DOE)* Private health care* 5% pension contribution* 32 days
