Electrical Qualifying Supervisor

Red Rock Consultants are working with a privately-owned well-established M&E business, who specialise in the design build and installation of both mechanical and electrical projects. Operating within the commercial, retail, and industrial sectors. After seeing exponential growth and securing multiple long-term contracts our client is now looking to add an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor.

The Electrical Qualifying Supervisor will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• The overall standard and quality of electrical installation work undertaken

• Ensure all employees are competent to carry out the range of electrical works required of them

• To undertake effective electrical works in progress inspections on directly employed operatives, sub-contractors and agency staff, ensuring documentation and maintaining records for any third-party audits

• To check, verify and authorize completed electrical certification

• Where applicable instigate corrective action procedures and track to full resolution of issues highlighted

• Mentoring employees and helping to develop their electrical skills

•  The point of contact between the electrical team and operations team to support and advice the operations team on electrical technical matters

• Assist with and support the recruitment , induction, and development of field engineers

• Undertake QS inspection audits & visits in relation to existing and future engineers

• Provide quotations , estimates and purchase materials when needed

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Experience within in similar position Electrical Qualifying Supervisor

• Electrical qualifications, as SSSTS Card, Gold card, 17th edition,
