Electrical Supervisor - Facilities Management - Manchester (will also include Mobile working across the North Business Areas) - Up to £42,000 plus Company Van plus excellent benefits.
Are you an experienced Electrical Supervisor with experience in the Building Services industry?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK working at multiple sites based in Manchester and across the North Business Areas.
Salary: Up to £42,000 plus Company Van plus excellent benefits.
Hours of work: 40 hour working week.
Location: Manchester (Will also include Mobile working across the North Business Area).
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Electrical Maintenance team.
- Provide technical support on Electrical Services to buildings and plant planned maintenance and reactive repair service to the site.
- To support the Site Safety, Health and Environment within the team, and their activities.
- Evaluate customer requirements and produce proposals including cost and timescales.
- Monitor the progress of the planned maintenance and remedial works to agree costs and time and ensuring all works are completed in line with SLA.
- Provide an engineering service to design, plan and project manage minor site refurbishment and equipment installations.
- Support the Services Manager - Assets in managing the departmental human resources and operating budget, ensuring that all financial management, forecasting, and reporting requirements are met.
The successful person:
- A minimum electrical engineering qualification of NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of Management disciplines in Electrical works
- Experience in a Supervisory role in a Building Services/Facilities Management environment with Electrical works as a component responsibility.
- Be commercially aware and have a sound knowledge of budget preparation, negotiation, and management.
- Good people management, leadership, decision-making and communications skills.
- Be resilient under pressure and be able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers, and customers at all levels.
