Reed are working with a great education provider who is seeking a Technician to support full time in a classroom based setting.
The sucessful applicant will work as Workshop Technician to support staff and students in a range of art and design activities within our 3D workshops. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for creativity and a background in art and design, particularly with a focus on 3D work.
Electrical Technician
Hourly Salary: £13-20ph
Location: South London
Job Type: Full Time 37 hours pw
Day-to-day of the role of an Electrical Technician:
- Preparation, monitoring, and maintenance of equipment and materials in the workshops.
- Assisting with demonstrations of equipment and processes,
- Responsible for basic servicing machinery
- Supervising classes of learning within the workshop and teaching areas.
- Adhere to health and safety and in practical sessions
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Electrical technician role:
- Qualification in Electrical Installation, Construction, or Plumbing or term served in an apprenticeship in these areas
- At least 2 year industry experience
- Experience with apprentices, or students in a training or education
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to work.
- Enthusiasm for working with young people in a creative environment.
