Job Description:
As an Electrical Technician specializing in commercial and industrial projects, you will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. From office buildings and retail spaces to manufacturing facilities and warehouses, you will work on a diverse range of projects, ensuring that electrical systems operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute electrical installations and upgrades.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements and specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to electrical codes and standards.
- Document work performed, including maintaining accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical components.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations applicable to commercial and industrial settings.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Electrical certification or license preferred.
