Salary: £38,500
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance procedures, emphasising on breakdown prevention.
- Install and modify equipment as required, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement reoccurrence prevention plans using available resources.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team, ensuring clear and effective communication across departments, suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers.
- Operate access platforms, such as scissor lifts and cherry pickers, safely and efficiently.
- Utilise your computer skills to access information, manage emails, and complete reports.
- Share your knowledge and expertise by training and mentoring apprentices.
- Champion a safe working environment, endorsing positive behaviour and leading by example in adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Be flexible and willing to undertake any other duties that may reasonably be expected.
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
- Proven experience in developing preventative maintenance procedures and implementing effective breakdown prevention plans.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in operating access platforms, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, and other relevant engineering equipment.
- Familiarity with computer systems for accessing information, managing emails, and generating reports.
- A passion for mentoring and training others, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
