Electrician

We are currently recruiting for the following permanent role in West Thurrock (Essex).

Required: Electrician

Employment: Permanent (& full time)

Location: West Thurrock (Essex).

Pay Rate/Salary: £18.49p/hr weekly paid

Main Duties

Electrical installations and maintenance of electrical supplies based permanently at a production plant in Essex. You will be responsible for the maintenance and breakdown of electrical systems and equipment on site working in conjunction with the Electrical Supervisor/Electrical Manager in the implementation of an effective preventive maintenance program for all electrical components and systems. Cooperating with other engineers in coordinating the electrical installation of specialised electrical components and using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacture s installation guidelines to complete the projects.

The ideal skills & experience

18th Edition (BS7671:2018).

NVQ Level 3 Electro Technical Services in Electrical or BTEC National Certificate in Electrical Engineering.

Knowledge of PLCs, 3 Phase motors, fault finding & trouble shooting on industrial control systems and understanding of electrical drawings.

Knowledge of building MMC panels advantageous but not essential.

Knowledge of diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus of electrical systems including LV circuits, Electrical Motors, power and lighting, using test equipment.
