JOB DESCRIPTION - Approved Electrician: To attend site-based projects as directed by the contracts manager or supervisor and complete the works to the highest standard.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a JIB apprenticeship lasting 4/5 years or having completed an apprenticeship with the Armed Forces, meeting the requirements for the grade of Electrician or maintenance electrician.
- Possess an ECS Gold Card.
- Maintain a clean DBS record.
- Have knowledge of the current IET Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations, the Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity Regulations, the Electricity at Work Regulations, and relevant statutory and British Standards, Codes of Practice, and Construction Industry Safety Regulations.
- Stay up to date with regulation changes and maintain personal qualifications.
