Electrician

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician based within Birmingham, B15

To undertake improvement work, maintenance and repairs of plant, services and physical assets including testing and routine fault finding

Available shifts / Locations below:

• Monday until Friday (5 days a week)- This is a full time position
• Postcode: B15 2WB
• 08:00-16:00PM
• £21.29 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue.
• Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
• This position is PAYE

Skills and Qualifications required:

• Must have at least 2 years previous Electrical experience
• DBS Certificate required
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
• Able to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work both alone and in a team.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures
• 18th Edition
• Electrical Installation - Approved apprenticeship with either:
• City & Guild 236 Part 1, 2 & 3 Parts A, B, C or
• City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1, 2, 3 or
• City & Guilds 2330 Level 2, Level 3, (Level 4 - desirable) or
• City & Guilds 2560 2357 - Diploma

Must have experience in the following:

• Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade
• Set up New Work appropriate to his/her own trade using relevant tools, equipment and machinery,
• After appropriate training, work off tower scaffolding, MEWP’s, ladders, and step ladders and within confined spaces
• To carry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor
• Ensure all PPM and Reactive work is carried out effectively in compliance with maintenance instructions and response and repair times.
• To record information as required for the operation of Maximo or similar system.
• Diagnose and repair faults in engineering installation, plant and equipment. To deal with new situations as they arise and pass on knowledge to others
