Form of workBoyd Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for Maintenance Electricians to work in Greenock.This is a long-term contract position working Monday to Friday carrying out Maintenance work for our client.The position is based on-site, you will NOT move around to other sites.Responsibilities:• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems in the prison.• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform necessary repairs promptly.• Install and maintain lighting, power distribution, and security systems.• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to coordinate projects.• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain accurate records of work performed.Salary:£22.00 per hour£33.00 per hour overtime (after 37.5 hours)Requirements:MUST be able to pass Disclosure check.MUST be 18th Edition trainedProven experience as a Maintenance Electrician is Beneficial.Solid knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and controls.Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.Familiarity with security and fire alarm systems preferred.Ability to work independently and efficiently.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Shift Details:Monday to Friday8am to 4pmBenefits:• Overtime will be paid after 37.5 hours at time and a half.• Comprehensive benefits package.• Professional development opportunities.Start DateImmediateInterested?If this is something you are interested in please hit 'apply' or give Brian a call on (phone number removed)
