Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing all maintenance tasks as scheduled
- Installing and repairing systems, apparatus, electrical, and industrial machinery per current electrical regulations, manufacturers guidelines, and technical drawings
- Performing routine maintenance and scheduled checks, logging, and signing relevant documentation
- Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns
- Communicating issues and problems to senior management with relevant timescales for resolution
- Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Approved Electrician certification or Completion of a recognised vocational education program in electrical or industrial electrical or industrial training
- Understanding of electronic theory as applied to electrical and electronic circuits, wiring, and electrical equipment used in power generation
- Proficiency with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) units and other computer-based equipment
- Knowledge of methods, equipment, and materials used in the electrical trade
- Understanding of current legislation and 18th edition wiring regulations
- Ability to install, program, and troubleshoot PLC based equipment
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Completion of a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
- Experience as an electrician in industrial maintenance
- Marine experience is advantageous
This role is a FTC until December 2025
Rate - £17.07/h plus OT paid after 37 hours at x1.4
Standard Hours - Monday to Thursday 0645 - 1615
