Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a major Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. They are presently employing around 500 people and have a turnover of £50 million and they have some ambitious plans in place to grow this again over the coming years.
Job Description
This roll will be mainly focused on domestic properties, undertaking a variety of tasks including:
- General electrical repairs
- Re-wires, refurbishments, and electrical infrastructure upgrades on both empty and occupied properties.
- Electrical installation condition reports
- Upgrade/install to smoke alarm systems.
- Day to day fault finding and repairs.
- Install works for new contracts.
Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installations
- 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- AM2 or equivalent
- 2391 Inspection & Testing in Desirable
- CSCS Card is Desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
Earnings:
- Basic salary £37,656, Expected Average Overall Total Earnings £41,000+
- 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
- Defined Benefit Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions circa 18.5%
- 21 days holiday per year (exclusive of 8 bank holidays) rising to 26 days after 5 years’ service.
- £600 per year for zero sickness absence paid bi-annually.
- Call out rota and standby, one full week = £700
- Overtime paid at premium rates.
