SalaryElectronic Design Engineer - Devon - To £48k (exp Dep) A commercially experienced Electronic Design Engineer Engineer with proven Analogue and Digital Circuit Design skills together with strong Schematic Design and PCB Layout experience (Altium ideally), will join an established Technology Company in Devon.
The successful Electronic Design Engineer will contribute to the development of the company’s own product range as well as customer specific products; providing detailed specifications, product documentation and customer support; ensuring products meet legislative requirements and will also prepare fabrication data for PCB manufacture and assembly.
Key Skills and Experience should include some/all of the following:
- A relevant Degree or formal Electronics qualification.
- Strong Analogue and digital Circuit Design skills.
- Creating Schematics and PCB Layout ideally using Altium.
- Working with various Microcontrollers.
- Wireless technologies such as Bluetooth.
- Peripheral Interfaces such as SPI or I2C.
- Communication Protocols such as CAN, RS232, RS485 or Ethernet.
- Circuit design and verification using Spice software / breadboarding.
- Experience writing detailed documentation.
- Working to EMC standards.
