Electronic Design Engineer

Superior Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer based in Aberdeen.  

Our client operates in five business areas:-

• Marine & naval
• Offshore oil & gas
• Renewable energy
• Defence & industrial
• Aquaculture

The main focus will be supporting CCTV Marine & Naval Projects group with new designs, updates of existing systems and providing technical support to the sales and manufacturing teams. Assist with performing technical design reviews, and checks on the new designs to help ensure that the systems are delivered to specification, on time and to budget. 

Requirements 

• BEng in Electronic Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Electronic design including circuit design and embedded programming.
• Set up and developing of computer networks.
• Experience of IP Video Management Systems and optical design desirable.
• Proven relevant experience.
• Familiar with military standards desirable.
• Keen technical and manufacturing background with good all-round awareness.
• Abilities to work in team and to take initiatives independently.
• Able to plan, prioritise and handle multiple tasks.
