You’ll be working in an R&D team of 35 mixed discipline engineers who form part of a much larger organisation meaning you’ll get excellent job security and the feeling that you’re able to make a difference with solid input on new products that go to market.
Your experience of high-speed digital design coupled with a good understanding of design for manufacture will enable you to be successful in this position. You’ll be working on multiple projects (typically 4-year lifecycle) for multiple products that generally become obsolete within 10-years meaning you’ll always get to / be working on the next gen / iteration of company products which should keep work interesting, always!
You’ll be designing electronic systems which encompass both analogue and high speed digital electronics, FPGA’s, microprocessors, and microcontrollers. Your previous experience of high-speed digital circuit design will mean you already have a good understanding of timing, signal integrity, and track layout.
