Electronics Assembly Technician

Location: Woking

Hourly Rate: £18/hour PAYE (Umbrella option available)

If you are an Electronics Assembler or Assembly Technician looking to work in a high-tech and advanced technology business, this could be the role for you.

Assembling state of the art, complex, high value electronics -you will be working to the highest standards, working to a right first time ethos at all times.

This is a busy time for our client, so overtime will be available on a daily basis. This contract is also expected to run until late 2024 / early 2025.

Requirements:

• Must have experience of Assembling, Wiring, Box build and Soldering within a high-end production environment
• Previous experience of working to IPC Standards (610, J-Std, 7711/21 etc) - certifications is not essential but any experience is greatly beneficial
• Proven experience of all aspects of box build manufacturing processes
• Have good attention to detail to maintain or exceed high levels of production standards
• Must have experience of working in a high technology environment

Responsibilities:

• Working in a small team of specialised Assembly Technicians assembling complex, high value, electronic products in small/medium volumes
• Regular wiring, soldering, cable assembly and electro-mechanical assembly / box build
• Production of products to the highest quality and reliability standards are paramount
• Perform/prepare build, test or inspection activities before and during product manufacturing
• Proven ability to understand and follow technical drawings
• Support inspection of Electronics Assembly
• Contribute to the process of continuous improvements to achieving zero defects in accordance with ISO9001
