Electronics Design Engineer

Title: Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Wakefield

Working Hours: 8am-5pm 9 (Mon-Thurs) 8am-1pm (Fridays)

Yoh are currently partnered with growing business who are looking to add to the team with a new Electronics Design Engineer. The general responsibilities of this role would include designing power and control solutions for their electronics appliances across multiple projects whilst supporting the internal and external development of technical solutions.

This role is primarily based on-site with flexibility given depending on the individual as well as the current project and tasks needing to be performed. The expected salary for this type of position is between £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.

Job Functions:

• Generate schematics and design PCB layouts
• Generate technical documentation to substantiate the design.
• Carry out detailed testing of electronic equipment.
• Collaborate with the production team regarding the latest technology as well as internal documentation.

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge in electronic hardware design
• Proven experience in schematic & PCB design
• Expertise in Altium (other design tools would be considered)

Experience working with LED power supplies would be great to have!
