Electronics Hardware Engineer (Contract) I'm working with a global consultancy who design, build and support high performance electronic systems. They are a trusted partner of the UK Government and have leading capabilities across engineering, physics and mathematics. They develop products for extreme operational environments, from under water to outer space. They are looking for an Electronics Hardware Engineer to support the development of cutting-edge products with rapid design cycles. The successful candidate will have experience with FPGA and high speed circuit design. SC clearance and Sole UK Nationality required.
Rate: Up to £720/day Inside IR35Contract Length: Initially 6 months (likely to extend to 12 months)Location: Guildford, Ideally 5 days/week onsite (could consider 4 days) Technical Requirements: Principal design experience - designing complex circuit boards involving high speed digital electronics - large FPGA's high speed networkingFPGA and high speed digital circuit design are essentialKnowledge and experience of high speed digital circuit design using components such as Xilinx SoC devices, FGPAs, DDR memory, 10/40/100GigE network devices, radio transceivers. Able to architect and detail design of PCB schematics using the above componentsOptionally do PCB layoutDesign set-to-work Eligibility: To be considered for the role, you must have active SC Clearance and be a Sole UK National.
