Check out this exciting new opportunity for an Electronics Inspector based in Stonehouse.
You will be responsible for the visual inspection of Electronics assemblies inc but not limited to, electronic components, solder joints & conformal coating.
Responsibilities
- PCB Assembly Inspection – including post SMT inspection, conformal coating, and final inspection.
- AOI Inspection – supporting AOI of SMT as and when required.
- Continuous Improvement – of procedures and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
Primary Objectives
- Inspect PCB assemblies to IPC-A-610 Class II as standard, Class III where specified.
- Carry out and assist in First article inspections,
- Feedback and report on process indicator errors, to improve processes feeding into inspection, to stop waste of time and labour through rework.
- Keep your area clean and organised always.
Skills
- Experience of IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)
- Experience of reading and following work/build instructions.
- Experience of inspecting conformal coating is desirable, but not essential.
- Accurate consistent assembly to target times.
- Good communication and reporting skills, both verbal and written.
- Good computer literacy with ability to learn new software.
- Positive work ethic.
- Good attention to detail.
- Work in an efficient manner.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision when required.
- Ability to multitask effectively and work well under pressure.
