As an Electronics Technician, you will focus on the assembly and testing of finished products, the maintenance of your work area and the equipment used therein. Working within the Production department team, you will ensure that work is carried out to the company quality standards and on time.
Responsibilities
- Build and test finished electrical and mechanical products to scheduled build times and customer demand
- Responsible for delivering set objectives & to report progress on the delivery of these as agreed with your supervisor
- Propose solutions for the improvement of production efficiency and product improvement
- Maintain the upkeep of the 5S standards in the workshops & the continual improvement of them.
Skills & Qualifications
- Electronics Assembly Experience
- Mechanical Assembly Experience
- Electronic circuit fault finding
- Soldering surface mount components
- Excellent attention to detail
- Work well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing & drawing build notes
- Ability to use MS Word and Excel
- Experience with MS Dynamics NAV is preferable
