Elevator Tester

We are looking for a Lift Technician to join our well-established Bristol Branch. The successful candidate will be working across the South West of England.

As a Lift Technician, you will provide senior-level technical product and engineering expertise in the maintenance, refurbishment and repair of industrial lifts and associated equipment. You will use your knowledge and expertise to complete technical assessments; determining any faults to provide resolution, along with process and cost reporting. All of our Lift Technicians carry out thorough examinations and test to current standards/regulations.

Our ideal candidate would have extensive lift engineering experience and be qualified with an NVQ level 3 or 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop and complete and NVQ Level 4.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring site safety, quality, compliance with specification and measuring performance of field-based engineers and sub-contractors.
• Manage site technical queries.
• Liaising with clients' representatives as and when required.
• Carrying out site surveys/dilapidation and technical reports
• Carry out thorough examinations as required by LOLER.

• Assist with commissioning of refurbished lifts.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Lift Technician/tester or extensive experience as a Lift Engineer.
• Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
• Full driving licence
