EL/PL Claims Handler

Our client, one of the largest global insurance managers in the world, is looking for an Employer Liability and Public Liability Claims Handler to hit the ground running in their new role. Based in the heart of London and offering hybrid working, this is a fantastic opportunity for the ideal candidate who is looking at increasing their earnings and accelerating their career.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be tasked with building and maintaining great relationships with colleagues, clients, and other external stakeholders of the business. You will proactively handle claims, maintain client files and negotiate claims on behalf of our clients, always ensuring the best possible outcome.

You will also need to check that claims are fully recoverable within the policy terms & conditions and a growth mindset is a must for any candidate coming into the role as you will be regularly attending training sessions, seminars and lectures designed to further develop your skills and accelerate your career. You will also be a team player, and you will need to be someone that other team members can look up to as mentoring and contributing to the development of more junior members of the team will also play a part in your role.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will need fantastic communication skills both written and oral, great organisation and time management skills and have significant claims technical experience within the Employer Liability and Public Liability market and be up-to-date with current market practice and initiatives.

You will need experience using the MOJ claims portal, and will have a proactive approach in how you work and you must be a great team player who is willing to help and support other members of your team. Professional Insurance or Legal Qualification preferred.
