Email Marketing Executive – Pardot & Salesforce
Location : Just south of Manchester – commutable by tram
Office setup – 3 days in office, 2 from home
Salary: Up to £40k base plus company performance bonus, pension, healthcare, etc.
The role you will be responsible for Email Marketing via Pardot for this financial service brand.
Owning the Email Marketing channel via Pardot. This role will be hands-on with Pardot to build a range of emails across acquisition, retention and information distribution. This is a green field opportunity as there are lots of interesting projects to get involved with.
The role is predicted to take full responsibility for CRM and will have a roadmap to accomplish that. This will include marketing automation. Whilst they have a very loyal customer base, they recognise the current sophistication of their CRM programme could do with revamping.
They’ve got Salesforce in place, but the strategy behind some of the journeys needs rethinking and mapping. This presents an opportunity to broaden out channels for engagement, which will include an opportunity to re-imagine content and copy too.
About the Business
The business you’ll be doing this for is a financial services specialist. They’ve been around for a long time and service the needs of principally SME and SOHO markets. Their target audience tends to fall through the cracks of mainstream financial lenders.
They have operations based in the UK and Asia, and currently stands around 500 people. They business has recently appointed a new CMO who is undertaking a revamp of the company’s marketing strategy and created new position, of which this is one of them.
You will be reporting to that CMO and be a part of the new senior marketing team. It’s an individual contributor position responsible for strategy and execution.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Creating email campaigns via Pardot
- Oversee the development of email and marketing automation campaigns
- Worth with the Head of Growth to create a CRM strategy for new and existing customers.
- Work with the wide growth marketing team to share concepts and learnings.
- Develop and manage CRM campaigns
- Build and refine marketing automation campaigns to re-engage and nurture prospects, and maximise our funnel performance
What we’re looking for:
- A CRM Marketer with a credible background in delivering b2b and b2c campaigns
- Experience work with Pardot and Saleforce.com is preferred
- Experience creating and managing an acquisition strategy across email channels
- Good knowledge of CRM as part of a lead generation engine
- Experience working into C-suite individuals on a daily basis is preferred
- Credible experience managing & mentoring a team would be beneficial
- Lived experience in a regulated environment such as telecoms or Financial Services would be beneficial
