SalaryAvanti Recruitment has partnered with an established engineering company in the Nottingham area that is looking to add to it’s research and development team with an Embedded Software Engineer, where you’ll hit the ground running with bringing their brand new projects through the entire design life-cycle.
You’ll be working on multiple projects simultaneously across various bare-metal and real-time embedded systems, and will be solving complex engineering challenges regarding high-speed package switching and RF communications.
The role is offering up to £55,000 + discretionary profit-related bonus (which has been consistently paid out yearly), 23 days holiday, medicash healthcare contribution, and flexible hybrid working of 2 days per week on site.
What we’re looking for:
Strong experience in C and C++ for bare-metal and RTOS-based embedded platforms
Familiarity with low-level device driver design and development
Experience with embedded hardware test and debugging
Advantageous skills and experience:
Familiarity with audio or wireless communication protocols
Understanding of audio electronics
Audio DSP
