In this role, you will be accountable for working autonomously or collaboratively within a team, beginning with the initial specification phase, and extending through to final testing and documentation.

This position offers you the opportunity to enhance your current skills by utilizing your acquired career expertise. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you may be challenged to apply your embedded skills in tasks such as porting products from older or hard-to-source hardware to newer architectures. The company is currently undergoing developmental modernization, and you will play a pivotal role in steering their continuous integration system. Staying abreast of the latest trends in embedded technology and techniques is essential in this role.

This opportunity allows you to expand your experience with Embedded Software and work with cutting-edge technologies. The role involves five days onsite and it is important you can travel the companies Milton Keynes office.

The ideal candidate could be at various stages in their career, as the company welcomes individuals from junior to experienced levels and offers competitive salary and benefits packages. Ideally, candidates will possess an education or degree in software development or have acquired practical experience working as an Embedded Software Engineer utilizing C/C++ development.

The person:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in electronics or other subjects
• Experience with embedded C/C++ development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are necessary as you will be tasked with composing detailed technical reports and product documentation.
• Able to work independently and as a team to complete projects on time.

The role:

• Working in a team steering our continuous integration systems.

• Porting products with older or hard to source hardware to new architecture.
• Being involved from the initial specification all the way through to the final testing and documentations
• Working in a team and independently to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
