TITLE:
Senior Embroidery Machine Operator
WORK HOURS:
40 per week
LOCATION:
SuperHub, Swindon
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To prepare components for the embroidery process.
To operate, monitor and adjust Embroidery Machinery as required.
Assist Leaders with the coordination of embroidery activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform embroidery operations and procedures in compliance with approved standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions.
Operate automatic and semi-automatic high volume embroidery equipment where suitably trained and instructed to do so.
Under direction from Leaders, train, mentor and supervise new starters and/or temporary staff as required.
Work with colleagues, Leaders, and Management to achieve pre-determined targets and ensure high levels of quality are achieved and maintained.
Carry out maintenance on embroidery equipment as defined within SOP and equipment user guides/manuals where suitably trained and instructed to do so.
Perform routine SAP transactions.
To undertake all reasonable tasks efficiently and with enthusiasm and professionalism as requested by Leaders, and Management.
To strive to achieve high quality standards and report errors.
To maintain a clean and hazard free working environment.
To always follow and adhere to Health and Safety rules and guidelines.
Any ad hoc duties assigned, including working in different departments within the SuperHub, as required.
SKILLS
Previous experience in a similar role and environment.
Hand/eye coordination.
Willingness to learn and absorb information and knowledge relating to Callaway products.
The ability to work independently and also as part of a wider team.
Must be physically fit to undertake various manual handling tasks

Lifting and carrying up to 15kgs
Controlled risk of exposure to dust, fumes and chemicals
Controlled risk of exposure to vibration
Requirement to use personal protective equipment as instructed
