Role Overview
The Marketing Assistant will provide marketing and administrative support to the Marketing Manager to assist with the delivery of marketing and business development activity. The candidate will support the Marketing Manager with activating marketing strategies plus help the team in their everyday activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the Marketing Manager with the planning, implementation and monitoring of marketing activity for the division
• Assisting with the compiling and production of e-mail marketing communications, including global quarterly Newsletters
• Assisting with the creation and briefing of branded marketing materials
• Creating branded PowerPoints for internal and external presentations
• Assisting with the coordination of marketing calendars with relevant industry and cross sector events
• Supporting with the planning and execution of events
• Assist in the tracking of marketing budgets
• Updating and maintaining Savills external website and internal intranet – Connect
• Updating and maintaining Savills CRM system – Dynamics (training will be provided)
• Liaising with internal stakeholders within the wider marketing and communications teams in Savills
• Content creation for Savills social media platforms
• Assisting with general administrative tasks to support the wider team
In addition to the tasks described above, the job holder may be required to carry out additional duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
Key Skills
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel (with a key focus on PowerPoint)
• Good verbal and written communication skills, able to work effectively with individuals at all levels
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
• Enthusiasm to do a high quality job at all times, with attention to detail e.g. proof reading and formatting presentations
• Ability to cope with routine admin tasks in addition to more complex tasks
• Continuous improvement – delivers efficiency in addition to effectiveness
• Able to work individually and as part of a team
• Self-motivated with the ability to demonstrate positivity, good timekeeping, reliability and flexibility
Team Overview
The EMEA Global Occupier Services team consists of 70 people. The team advise clients who occupy property but who are not in the property business, combining our skills and our corporate knowledge to deliver results. They operate at a number of different levels, from being a full outsource of a company’s real estate functions, to a coordinator of single or multiple service lines for occupier clients.
The EMEA Marketing Manager is based in the Bristol commercial office and supports the development and delivery of all marketing activity. They are supported by specialist central teams including PR, Digital Marketing. Design and Social Media, and form part of a 80 strong Savills UK marketing team covering the residential, commercial and rural property sectors.
