Team/Role Overview

Join Citi’s HR Shared Services in Belfast and make your own progress in a supportive and friendly environment!

We are looking for an EMEA Payroll Transformation Lead to join the Global Payroll Services team based in Belfast.  This role will be responsible for managing global transformation efforts for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

What you’ll do

  • Support the EMEA Payroll Services Head in contributing to the process improvement initiatives across the region

  • Partner with the Operating Committee to scope reengineering opportunities within and across product lines; ensure appropriate level of program sponsorship and engagement; identify reporting and tracking mechanisms to capture reengineering benefits achieved

  • Provide day-to-day support of reengineering team and associated programs

  • Prepare management reports and presentations as needed. Prioritize Reengineering opportunities and manage a cross product, cross regional portfolio of productivity programs/projects

  • Escalate project/program issues as appropriate and design plans for remediation

  • Partner as appropriate with the Project and Business Managers to deliver best practice reengineering solutions

  • Map e2e processes and conduct process deep dives, in partnership with Country Payroll Managers to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies

  • Identify key opportunity areas and size the estimate for capacity creation, which will lead to Control enhancements, Client Experience improvement, and cost efficiency

  • Assist with implementing digital and strategic tools and applications to digitalize and automate processes

  • Continuously improve existing products/services to identify potential savings, eliminate waste and improve processes

  • Training and engagement of employees at all levels

What we’ll need from you

  • Relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s/University degree

  • Strong Stakeholder management and Vendor management skills

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Established process improvement experience with Lean, Six Sigma and/or Project Management required

  • Proven track record of evaluating current processes and envisioning ways to reengineer the process

  • Be Tech-Savvy and can leverage low code/ no code digital tools

  • Knowledge of Payroll and Accounting are an advantage in addition to industry best practices

  • Ability to work within a global environment with virtual teams
