Package - £23,410 - £28,000 dependant on skills and experience plus allowances

You will be required to provide effective operational and administrative support for an Emergency Planning, Preparedness and Resilience capability for AWE. Actively contribute to raising the profile of Emergency Planning and Preparedness and Business Resilience Group across the Company, deliver professional administration services, maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality, be a great team player and follow through on commitments, overcome obstacles and uphold promises to achieve results.
Successful Candidates key responsibilities will be:
- To work effectively and flexibly in order to facilitate the provision of day-to-day administration support in line with AWE’s Emergency Response and Resilience operating protocols.
- Provide support to Site Services management as directed by the Senior Manager Emergency Planning and Preparedness.
- Provide support to Emergency Planning and Preparedness Managers during regulatory interfaces.
- To administer the emergency training and exercising programme to ensure all Emergency Planning training and exercising is recorded and to produce activity reports and analysis as required.
- To provide all meeting administration to the team organising dates/venues meeting participant details, taking minutes, collating and circulating agendas etc.
- To deal with email /telephone queries promptly and effectively.
- Ensure that documentation used by the Emergency Management teams is current.
- Maintain accurate lists/systems of contact details for staff with emergency response responsibilities.
- Ordering and re-stocking of emergency response equipment as required (procurement).
- Maintain AWE Emergency Management and Resilience rosters and issue updates as required.
- Assist with checks of emergency response infrastructure and equipment.
- Demonstrate accountability following through on commitments, overcoming obstacles and upholding promises to achieve results.
- Is an ambassador of safety and security, following all safety protocols, achieving compliance to ensure a safe and secure working environment for all.
- Shows genuine interest in others by helping to create a culture of belonging.
