In the Training and Employability Officer role, you will be:
Recruiting, supporting and mentoring unemployed people into suitable, sustainable employment by identifying suitable and appropriate job opportunities, making matches and upskilling where possible
Ensuring an action plans are completed and updated for each person and all records are maintained and accurate
Supporting individuals and small groups with CV writing, application forms and interview skills, and delivering employability training
Working with local businesses, actively sourcing opportunities and ensuring the needs of the community are best met
Carrying out admin support and other duties within the individuals skills capacity
To be successful in the Training and Employability Officer job, you will need:
Experience working in a similar employability / support based role providing CV, job search and interview advice
Administrative experience including data handling
Ability to work independently, build effective working relationships and be proactive and self-directed
Excellent communication, presentation, planning and organising skills with a high level of accuracy
This is a permanent position, working full time, 37 hours per week. You'll be based in offices in Abergele and on an annual salary of up to £30,385 plus a range of employee benefits.
