In the Training and Employability Officer role, you will be:
- Recruiting, supporting and mentoring unemployed people into suitable, sustainable employment by identifying suitable and appropriate job opportunities, making matches and upskilling where possible
- Ensuring an action plans are completed and updated for each person and all records are maintained and accurate
- Supporting individuals and small groups with CV writing, application forms and interview skills, and delivering employability training
- Working with local businesses, actively sourcing opportunities and ensuring the needs of the community are best met
- Carrying out admin support and other duties within the individuals skills capacity
To be successful in the Training and Employability Officer job, you will need:
- Experience working in a similar employability / support based role providing CV, job search and interview advice
- Administrative experience including data handling
- Ability to work independently, build effective working relationships and be proactive and self-directed
- Excellent communication, presentation, planning and organising skills with a high level of accuracy
This is a permanent position, working full time, 37 hours per week. You'll be based in offices in Abergele and on an annual salary of up to £30,385 plus a range of employee benefits.
