Employability Tutor

The purpose of this role is to effectively plan and deliver digital and employability programmes up to Level 3 whilst creating a positive, safe learning environment to support learners to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities are:

• Drive the development and delivery of a robust training plan in subject matter expertise.
• Inspirational tuition, support and guidance to learners throughout their learning journey
• Effective classroom management methods to provide inspirational and innovative learning.
• Design and deliver differentiated lessons to ensure active participation.
• Construct and maintain all learner documentation to meet quality and funding compliance.
• Ensure learner outcomes are achieved in a timely manner.

IT Specialist Tutor requirements are:

• Previous experience delivering IT Level 3 qualifications to adult learners:
• CERT ED or Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent) teaching qualification
• Level 3 assessors’ certificate (CAVA) or (TAQA) or equivalent
• Experience of working with people to help to remove barriers and support progression into employment, education, or training.
• Experience of liaising with employers and external agencies
• Experience of providing interactive training and development opportunities for adults
• Track record of developing bespoke individual plans and learning programmes
• Ability to achieve challenging deadlines and work without close supervision.
• Able to deliver Sector specific training in a range of sectors (including areas such as Level 3 IT and Employability)
• OFSTED experienced and knowledgeable.
• Working with the unemployed on government contract.
