Location: Reading (East Region), with travel to London & Oxford
Hours: 18 hours a week
Duration: until end of August (With possible extension)
Salary: £36,000 pro rata

Their HR team plays a crucial role in driving high performance through their people. As an Employee Relations Advisor, you'll be part of a dynamic team focused on ensuring consistency and compliance in their people management practices, including handling various Employee Relations issues.
About the job:
As an Employee Relations Advisor, you'll provide expert guidance on people policies and procedures, supporting line managers and employees alike. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end case management for Employee Relations matters, advising on disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and more.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Providing professional HR advisory services to line managers and employees.
- Leading end-to-end case management for Employee Relations issues.
- Advising line managers on various employment matters.
- Collaborating with employee representatives and trade unions.
- Ensuring consistency and best practices across the division.
You'll need to be:
- Experienced in providing HR advice and guidance.
- Proficient in case management.
- Skilled in building strong relationships and influencing others.
- Organised, with strong analytical skills.
- Proactive and flexible in your approach.
Minimum requirements:
- CIPD qualified or part qualified. - Desirable
- Proven work experience in an HR Advisor capacity. - Essential
- Excellent communication skills. - Essential
- Strong IT skills and relationship-building capabilities. - Essential
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR procedures. - Essential
About the location:
While this role is based in Reading, you'll have the flexibility to cover the East region of the network. Travel across the network may be required.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (3 Days per week)
