We are looking for an Employment & Outreach Advisor who would play a vital role in transforming lives. With your experience in the employability sector, strong communication skills, and dedication to making a difference, you’ll be instrumental in helping individuals achieve their full potential.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Must have a proven track record within the employability sector and at least 2 years’ experience.
• Have experience working with the Local Authority and Jobcentre Plus.
• Must have strong communication, conflict management and negotiation skills.
• Must be resourceful and innovative with a positive outlook.
• Must be target-driven and confident to work in a target-driven environment.
• Must be a team player and supportive of colleagues.
• Must be empathetic to vulnerable and at-risk adults and have a strong desire to help.
• Ability to create SMART action plans and conduct individual needs assessments.
• Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and contractual compliance in their previous roles.
• Computer, data entry and MS Office skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience in assessing the needs and barriers of participants through SMART action plans and needs assessment.
• Proven track record of customer outcomes and activities on the CRM system.
• Assist customers to become job-ready by coaching and providing employer-led advice and guidance.
• Provide customers with quality constructive feedback that allows them to improve and prepare for the dynamic work environment.
• Ability to work within Jobcentres, local authority and a range of community associations.
• Ability to work to targets and deadlines as set out by contract profiles.
• Ability to work alongside the Recruitment Managers to support work-ready participants into employment.
• Provide ongoing support to participants post-recruitment (in-work support).
• Sourcing employers through a mix of leads and cold calling to generate employment opportunities for customers on your caseloads.
• Create awareness amongst employers about our company’s vision of equal opportunities and values.
