Range of work including transactional employment work as well as contentious
Applicants should have strong transactional experience as well as exposure to contentious work. The team are looking for creative 'commercial' lawyers capable of working constructively with the HR departments and in-house legal teams of a variety of clients across various sectors. They are also keen to attract candidates who are experienced in working with corporate and commercial teams on everything from reorganisations and mergers and acquisitions to TUPE and redundancy initiatives.
Ideal candidates will have upwards of 5 PQE and will be confident operators used to dealing with a good mix of SME and larger corporates including listed companies advising them on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
What to expect
- Complex, high-level employee relations cases ranging from unfair dismissal cases in relation to instances of alleged discrimination to allegations of harassment and bullying;
- Advising on trade union negotiations at a major public sector institution;
- Advising well-known media brand in relation to their new inclusivity and diversity policy;
- Advising on complex TUPE consultation following multi-million-pound corporate acquisition
