Employment Solicitor

Eventus Legal is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a well-established, award-winning, highly reputable law firm in Thames Valley, and Home Counties. This is a permanent, full-time job position. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Employment Solicitor will be required to manage their own caseload and deal with a mix of contentious and non-contentious work delivering outstanding client care. You will need to show a genuine interest in Employment Law and be keen to progress your specialist knowledge and legal skills. Duties for this Employment Solicitor role will include but not be limited to:

• Acting for leading employers in a wide range of sectors
• Guiding clients through operational challenges
• Split your time between disputes, general advisory and corporate support, with some client training
• Assist the partners in supervising the junior members of the team
• Build strong relationships with existing clients
• Going along to networking events and taking an active role at seminars and webinars

Person Specification

Applications are sought from ambitious Employment Solicitors with strong analytical and research skills. You will be a key member of the team and will develop client relationships for the firm. The firm also is looking for the following skills and experience:

• Strong client-facing skills with a confident and empathetic approach
• Strong administration and IT skills
• Organised with effective time management skills
• Flexible outlook with an ability to prioritise under pressure
• A proven ability to work as part of a team and provide a role model for others to follow
